Machine learning methods for the study of animal groups on the move.

Recent advances in technology have led to a growth in our ability to collect data from mobile animal groups in their natural environments. In this talk I will discuss the methods we're using to investigate the movement patterns of these groups and how techniques from the domain of deep learning can be applied to movement ecology.
